Fans of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown are in for a treat with the arrival of the game’s latest update. This second free post-launch patch brings a slew of exciting new features, including a new boss rush mode, extra fast-travel options, and a nostalgic outfit from the 2008 reboot.

Boss Attack Update

The aptly named Boss Attack update introduces two new modes designed for players craving more challenge and replayability:

1. Boss Revenge: This mode lets you revisit any of the bosses from the game, allowing you to tackle them on various difficulty levels. You can test your mettle and strive for high scores on the leaderboard. Each boss encounter will use a specific loadout for your health, weapon upgrades, and abilities, though your amulets and Athra Surges will carry over from your save.

2. Boss Rush: This mode strings together all eight bosses into a single gauntlet. You’ll have the chance to swap out your gear between bosses, but you’ll need to manage your resources wisely as health and potions won’t be replenished. Complete this intense challenge to earn rewards, including a special outfit inspired by the 2008 Prince of Persia reboot. Additional Updates

In addition to the boss-centric content, the update includes:

• Fast-Travel Enhancements: You can now use Wak-wak trees to quickly travel around Mount Qaf, making navigation smoother and more convenient.

This update follows March’s Warrior’s Path patch, which introduced permadeath and speedrun modes, along with more costumes. The final free update for now, Divine Trials, will arrive this summer and promises new combat, puzzle, and platforming challenges, plus even more outfits.
